Jon-Paul Doran

CEO & Founder

Jon was born in Zimbabwe, and through his strong connections in the region has enabled Eco Equity to navigate a successful licence application. Eco Equity has partnered with the Zimbabwe Ministry of Health to develop, own and operate a medicinal cannabis facility in Zimbabwe with the objective to export the products derived from the facility to Canada, USA and Europe. 

Jon Paul started his career at Citi group before moving into the Private Equity industry working in the Far East and Middle East. From here Jon moved into the cannabis industry after identifying the opportunities in the market and the chance to help provide alternative treatments to those in need of care. In 2018 Jon established wealth management and private equity firm Axium Capital and through Axium has successfully raised capital & taken part in some of the UK’s biggest IPOs of the last two years.

Timothy Ambrose

Co-Founder & COO

Co-Founder & COO, a vastly experienced executive, Tim has built and lead high-performing commercial operations and digital operations throughout his career. Tim started his professional career at McKinsey before holding executive roles at DMGT, trinity mirror plc and, more recently, local word ltd where he was part of the team that completed a £220 million sale of the business to trinity mirror in October 2016. In addition to his role at eco equity, Tim acts as coo of Axium Capital

Stuart Wilkins

Chief strategy officer

An ambitious and self-motivated individual who has a curious business mind and keen eye for detail. Stuart has over 10 years of corporate experience working for global Finance and Strategy & Change teams before setting up his own consultancy company which is aimed at helping SME’s flourish. When not working, he spends most of his spare time reading, cooking and planning his next travel adventure

Tommy Doran

Managing Director (Zimbabwe)

Tommy was born in the UK and worked in the city for 6 years before moving back to Zimbabwe to raise a family. An entrepreneur Tommy has set up multiple business’, one being the import and export business where he was a Zimbabwean agent for Moet Hennessy and Patron Spirits. In 2013 Polyoak Packaging Pty ltd decided to establish a Zimbabwean manufacturing business in Zimbabwe and head hunted Tommy to lead the operation as their National Executive. This was a completely new business that Tommy and his team took from concept and set up a multi-million dollar world class facility. This is why Tommy was brought into the company, to build a world class GMP certified greenhouse that our Head Cultivator can use to produce the best possible medicinal cannabis.

Liam O'Connor

Managing Director (Antigua)

Liam comes to the Eco Equity team following a successful career working in international advertising in the U.K. and the Middle East. In an impressive career spanning more than 15 years, Liam has worked for such notable firms as DMGT, Trinity Mirror PLC and Local World LTD. Having previously managed successful teams and achieved aggressive targets Liam is extremely motivated to ensure Eco Equity’s Antigua operation is launched successfully and with long-term growth in mind.

Karim Hechme

General Manager (Antigua)

Karim possesses an extensive and unique professional background in investment facilitation and sales based industries. Karim joins the Eco-Equity team following more than 15 years of previous international work experience across various locations, including the Caribbean, Vietnam, the U.K. and Canada. Karim combines his exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills in an energetic and dynamic work environment while providing valuable insight and steering the day-to-day operations of Eco-Equity’s cannabis business in Antigua and Barbuda.

Ron Samuel

Head of Business Development

Ron is a Californian native, who has worked in the entertainment industry publishing music and film. With over 20 years’ experience in the medicinal cannabis industry, Ron has offered up his experience as a consultant. His latest incarnation, before joining Eco Equity was 40 Acres and A Greenhouse. 40 AG was designed for newly licensed organisations to help navigate and succeed in the field. Ron loves travelling and new challenges therefore he is super excited about joining the Eco Equity team and achieving his dreams of propagating the plant as an alternative to western medicine on a large scale

Soheil Ghaffari

Head Cultivator

Soheil (Sam) has been a cultivator of cannabis for the last 12 years creating formidable genetics such as SherbOZK which has become an urban legend amongst the cannabis community. In recent years Sam has gone on to win multiple local and international awards with his genetics and passion for cultivation.

James Middleweek

Head of Investor Relations

A motivated and ambitious individual James brings with him a wealth of industry experience with over 10 years from the Peer 2 peer and Fin Tech sector.

He is passionate about working with organisations at start-up phase and helping to develop them to SME status. He has a proven track record of success and helping clients get their funds working harder for them.

Outside of work he is a committed family man with 2 young daughters and enjoys cooking and Rugby Union.

Aaron Mustafa

Investor Relations

A key and popular member of the Eco Equity family, Aaron’s successful career in media and investor relations has provided him with the perfect experience to navigate his clients through this exciting period of Eco Equity’s growth. A sports enthusiast and lover of experiencing different cultures, Aaron plans to visit the Caribbean later in the year

Liam Marsh

Investor Relations

Liam has vast experience in handling investor relationships within the private sector – his ability to listen & understand an investors needs and requirements has served him & his clients well throughout his career – When Liam is not working he likes to spend time with his young family and anything to do with Motorsport!

Dino Mantovani

Investor Relations

Dino is a well-travelled business professional. He has a proven track record of understanding his client’s needs and building long – term prosperous business relationships. Dino has been at the forefront of the medicinal cannabis sector in Vancouver, Canada and successfully helped in raising millions of dollars for different pharmaceutical entities. Dino has been brought over to spearhead this project and brings with him a vast amount of knowledge within the sector. He is of Canadian and Italian descent who recently moved to England and enjoys travelling and exploring new places in his free time

Marissa Fuller

Investor Relations

Marissa’s experience within Investor Relations for the Private Equity sector allows her to identify growth opportunities, build and execute account plans whilst realising the companies objectives. Working closely with senior partners in negotiating enterprise level deals for existing clients and new business. Drawing from her background in Stockbroking, she has a keen understanding of GP sales strategies and maintaining an understanding of the current market direction.

A country girl at heart, she grew up in a small seaside town in Kent where she part-takes in extreme sports, including wake-boarding or kite-surfing in the English channel and when she can; snowboarding in the alps!

Zavio D'Ercole

Investor Relations

Zavio brings 6 years of experience to Eco Equity, and provides leadership and team spirit in raising funds for the medicinal cannabis sector. Zavio is a strong believer that CBD and other derivative products will help millions recover from serious illnesses such as epilepsy. Born and raised in London, with his Sicilian descent he is multilingual in Spanish and Italian. Zavio has interests in travelling and good food!

Dan Sakyi

Investor Relations

Daniel has been instrumental in raising capital for a vast number of different investment projects. He is a great listener and understands navigating his clients through market volatility and showing them the strongest return on Investment and not exposing their capital to un-calculated risk, which builds a long term profitable prosperous relationship with his clients and that is the reason they continue to do repeat business. Daniel is close to his family and adores his two nephews and spends as much time with them outside of the office as possible. He takes a keen interest in going to the gym to keep fit and also has a passion for watches

Josh Ortega

A recent expat and outgoing individual, Josh has lived in Spain for over 20 years and is an impressive native speaker. He has over 8 years experience in international sales and has spear-headed financial schemes including high interest ISA’s. With a young family, Josh loves spending time at home cooking, has a huge love for good food, travelling and is even an avid snowboarder!

Cameron Richards

Cameron’s youthful drive and passion for business success has enabled him to work in varied sales environments offering expert advice on market growth. He has a strong belief in medicinal cannabis and is excited to be a part of Eco Equity’s mission in the industry. Cameron’s hobbies include football and Formula 1 and he has a keen interest in nice cars and watches.

Harriet has a strong passion for marketing and demonstrated history in the animation industry. She is eager to learn all aspects of any growing market and can ease in and out of diverse tasks. From a theatre student background, Harriet can confidently strive in all types of creative industries she undertakes. She has a keen passion for fitness, a love of fashion, travelling and socialising with her family and friends

Robyn has over 6 years of managerial experience, in demanding and high powered environments. With a unique flare for event management and excellent organisation skills. She has a special talent for make-up, a love of cooking and also enjoys spending time with friends and family
